Hey guys! I know I haven't drawn anything lately apart from the time warp meme. I've actually been drawing a LOT in my sketchbook, I just never have the time to scan them in and whatnot. I'd love to get a bunch of my sketches uploaded soon, just bare with me! I did however add a new ID (my old one was from 2008..............) Yeahh I need to stop abandoning my DA ~A~;;; I check it every day for my watchlist and add favorites but I REALLY need to start submitting more~

I just want to write my yearly journal entry to let everyone know that I am still alive... It's almost 2011 and I haven't written a single entry in 2010! First of all my attentions for the past 2 years or so have shifted from drawing to photography. The bad news is that my harddrive crashed after one year of collecting my photography works on there... I seriously have everything saved starting BEFORE I got my new Canon 50D of course.. :/ but I'm working on getting the funds to have that hard drive restored so that I can post my photography work here as well as drawings and cosplay. It would make my gallery a bit more interesting rather than

Happy Birthday X3Rikku!!
Hey Rikku! :) I just wanted to let you know that I have a new dA account that I'm more active on now. It's :iconuncharteredstars: so please watch me there! Thanks!
I read on a pic that you did a Yuna obi.
Could you give me any tips for a begginer please?
Any advice will be more than welcome. ^^
Sorry to take your time

by the why like alot your gallery ^^
Sure! I made the entire FFX Yuna costume, the pictures are in my gallery. Assuming that you could sew the basic shape of a long rectangle, basically I used yellow quilting fabric (If I decided to re-make it in the future, I would not use quilting fabric, but it was very easy to paint on.) I used different fabric paints and acrylic paints (from Walmart) in the colors that were closest to Yuna's. So I laid it out on my desk and carefully sketched in the pattern copied from a blown-up image of the design. After it was sketched I painted in the design and hot-glued a thick pink rope to the top and I placed a sheet of thick aluminum inside the obi to give it a solid hard shape (and so that it wouldn't droop) I attached it together in the back using velcro on the obi. (Also attached the bow using velcro) The bow I made just drawing the basic pattern and after sewing it, I stuffed it with cotton stuffing you can find from Walmart to give it a thicker appearance. I mean again, if I went back and redid it, I would have done the bow a little more accurately (I was missing a small part of it) but I still like how it came out :) If you have any questions feel free to ask! ;)
thank you so but SO much for your help!
I will try to get the materials that I need to do it and I hope it gets so good as yours!
